| South America offers not only the chance to visit a different continent, but also the opportunity to ski during the summer months as the season runs from June – October. The Chilian and Argentine resorts are not so mainstream and therefore untracked powder is easier to find and the slopes are deserted. To top it off, some of the best off piste terrain in the world can be found in South America, as well as affordable cat and heli-skiing. |

Portillo is a very small resort, and while the on piste skiing is good, it is fairly limited. If you are coming to Portillo you need to head off the edge of the piste and experience the radical and challenging ski terrain, and then you begin to see why this resort is loved the world over. |

Argentina’s premier resort is superbly suited to advanced skiers with lots of steeps and unpisted runs offering dry waist deep powder opportunities at every turn. What makes Las Lenas really special though is its extensive off piste which is best experienced with a local guide who can unlock the areas full potential. |
