Situated within the beautiful Jasper National Park, the laid back town of Jasper is just a 20 minute ride from Marmot Basin ski area. With the local Elk to be found casually walking around the town; it really does make it a unique experience. Added to high altitude skiing with superb family facilities and low prices; Jasper really does become something quite special.

Marmot basin is a fantastic resort for all levels of skier with wide, rolling and uncrowded pistes; all of which are perfectly groomed to offer one of the best skiing experiences in Canada. The excellent ski school and crèche facilities, as well as the layout of the resort make it perfect for families to have a safe and enjoyable stay. For the more advance, there are exciting opportunities near the Caribou and Eagle ridges as well as powder bowls off the Knob chair.

All the après happens in the town of Jasper which has a number of relaxed bars and excellent restaurants which offer a variety of cuisine. One of the best is the Moose’s Nook at the Jasper Park Lodge which offers local Canadian fare. There is also a variety of activities available such as dog sledding, snow mobiling, ice skating and cross country skiing available within the resort.
