The Resort... |
 |
It is no wonder that Killington is the East Coast’s premier ski resort with it holding the largest ski area and longest season in the East as well as a very lively nightlife in the evening. The resort is actually scattered without a true centre although most accommodations are situated at or close to the bottom of the slopes. With flights only taking just over 6 hours and the time difference being far smaller than when travelling to the Rockies, it is an excellent resort to enjoy all the benefits on skiing in North America but without the long travelling time.

The Skiing and Boarding |
 |
Spanning across 6 mountains and offering 1,209 acres, Killington offers a huge variety of terrain which will suit all skiers. It is also home to 1,850 snow cannons which ensure there is always a substantial area of the skiing open even if there is no snow falling. The resort is also home to 5 snow parks including ‘The Stash’, one of only 5 all natural terrain parks in the world.

The Apres Ski |

Killington is a lively resort with a huge number of restaurants and bars scatted throughout, it really would be hard not to have a fantastic night out here! Particular favourites include The Lookout which often features live music, The Pickle Barrel and the fantastic Wobbley Barn which is an excellent place to finish the night. Outback and Santa Fe are great choices for dinner although with such a huge array of restaurants on offer, all tastes and budgets can be catered for across the array of restaurants.
