Accommodation

We have:
2 Hotels in Las Lenas.    View View

Las Lenas - The resort...

Las Lenas is Argentina’s most famous resort and renowned for its for its extensive off piste terrain. Built in the 1980’s, the resort has a retro feel with traditional village buildings, all in a pyramid style and is situated in the middle of the wilderness. It is a long way from any other town so the mountains dominate the view from all angles. With prices in resort incredibly low, your money really does go a lot further than many other ski resorts, meaning you can enjoy the incredible Argentinean food and wild nightlife to the full.

The skiing and boarding in Las Lenas

Las Lenas really is the South American resort to visit. Not only does it have more lift serviced terrain than Vail, but it also has some of the best and most extensive off piste in the world. It is best suited to intermediate and advanced skiers who can enjoy the excellent pisted runs with hardly another person in sight. There are several, wide, challenging intermediate runs, though the more advanced will head to the El Marte chairlift where there are many steeps and small cliff drops to descend as well as more gentle but powder filled slopes. It is what is found off piste that is worth the flight however, as you can reign free across the entire area, finding untracked powder and countless challenges. Gaining a guide is advisable to experience the best of Las Lenas and its expanse ski area. You definitely won’t be disappointed.

The après ski in Las Lenas

While in Las Lenas, you’ll experience a typical Latino après ski. The Argentineans know how to party and the bars in resort are regularly open until the very early hours as the locals and tourists drink and dance the night away. Also take advantage of the cheap prices and eat out in the local restaurants as Argentinean food is of a fantastic quality, with the local steaks particularly sublime. Each Friday night there is a torchlit descent with complimentary wine.
