Sun Peaks: The resort... |
 |
Tyrolean-style village perfect for all the family
Sun Peaks is the near perfect family resort; it has a friendly, convenient Tyrolean-style village with boutique shops, cafes and restaurants within walking distance and a ski area which offers challenges for all levels of skier without splitting families too far apart. With dry interior BC powder, uncrowded slopes and more than 2,000 hours of sunshine annually over the 3 mountains, there may not be a more enjoyable place to ski.

The skiing & boarding in Sun Peaks |
 |
Located in the stunning BC interior, Sun Peaks has 3,500 acres of skiing with nearly 3,000ft of vertical drop offering, making this the second largest ski area in British Columbia. It offers a range of skiing from perfect groomed slopes to great glades. For the more advanced there is a steep black run down Freddy’s Nightmare and also some fantastic off glade skiing on Burflield chair, with 5 Mile providing the perfect learning slope. A family oriented ski area where all runs lead back to the main village.
